Tiptoeing is usually seen in girls who have recently started walking. It must be considered normal until the age of 4; however, tiptoeing that still continues after the age of 4 can be seen because of habit as well as various illnesses. Musculoskeletal illnesses such as Cerebral Palsy, length difference between legs, and muscle shortness in legs can be reasons for tiptoeing. For diagnose and treatment, a pediatric orthopedist should be seen.
